This is a working draft written to cover the service as built. It is not legal advice and has not been reviewed by a qualified lawyer. Have counsel review and adapt it for your jurisdiction before launch.

1. The service

ZyloVPN provides an encrypted VPN connection through servers we operate. We give you configuration files and credentials for the devices your plan allows. We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability of any specific server or location.

2. Your account

You are responsible for keeping your password and device configurations secure. Your configuration files contain private keys — anyone holding one can connect as your device. Tell us promptly if you believe your account or a device has been compromised, and revoke the affected device from your dashboard.

3. Acceptable use

You agree not to use the service to:

  • Break the law in your jurisdiction or the jurisdiction of the server you use
  • Attack, scan, or disrupt other networks or systems
  • Send spam, or distribute malware
  • Infringe copyright or other intellectual property rights
  • Harass, threaten, or exploit others, including any sexual content involving minors
  • Resell or redistribute access without our written agreement

We may suspend or terminate an account that violates these terms. Where abuse is reported to us, we can act on the connection metadata described in our Privacy Policy — that is the extent of what we hold.

4. Device limits and fair use

Each plan allows a set number of simultaneously registered devices, shown on the pricing page and enforced by the service. Where a plan includes a data allowance, exceeding it may reduce speed or pause access until the next billing period.

5. Billing

Subscriptions renew automatically at the interval you selected until cancelled. You can cancel at any time from your account; access continues to the end of the period you have paid for. Prices may change, and we will tell you before a change affects a renewal.

6. Termination

You may close your account at any time. We may suspend or close an account for a material breach of these terms, or where we are required to by law. We will give notice where it is lawful and practical to do so.

7. Liability

The service is provided as is. To the extent permitted by law, our liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the event giving rise to the claim. Nothing here limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited.

8. Changes

We may update these terms. Material changes will be notified by email before they take effect, and continued use after that date means you accept them.
