WireGuard uses current, well-reviewed primitives — Curve25519, ChaCha20, Poly1305 and BLAKE2s — rather than the large configurable cipher suites older protocols carry.
Per-device keys
Every device gets its own key pair. Revoking one device has no effect on the others.
Encrypted key storage
Where private keys are stored so you can re-download a config, they are encrypted at rest and never appear in logs or admin screens.
Two-factor authentication
Protect your account with a TOTP app, plus single-use recovery codes for when you lose the device.
